Ready to deepen?
We are THRILLED you are continuing to deepen through our Finding Ground Home Retreats.
After one or two retreats, it is important to review and simplify the teachings so you can move forward without having too many things to remember.
Meditation instructions generally go from complicated to simple.
In Finding Ground, our primary instructions are laid out fully in every retreat, but as you progress through this training, you’ll have additional teachings to accompany your previous training.
These teachings are based on the earlier teachings, but they are more profound, and therefore, they are also more simple.
The videos below will give you a sense of what this means.
Wednesday’s video (8 minutes)
We hope you have been meditating regularly since the last retreat. If so, you’re ready for the videos on this page.
But if you’ve hit a slump, missed a week or so, or experienced any other part of meditation-unfriendly bumps, no worry. You can start fresh as if it were your very first time.
If you want a refresher on the initial instructions, revisit the first video set, found here.
But if you are ready to move deeper into the practice, these videos are for you.
This first video offers a review of the instructions so far, but from a more practiced perspective. You already know the basics, but now it’s time to consider why these methods are so impactful. You probably haven’t found any of the instructions easy, but that’s normal. If everything were easy, that would be suspicious.
Let’s talk about what we’re doing, and then get in the saddle and ride further into the horizon.

Thursday’s video (10 minutes)
After our review of the initial instructions, you are ready for a next step. For us, for now, that next step is to consolidate the teachings we have so far into a simpler, but complete, approach.
Your actual practice doesn’t have to change much, if at all. But through contemplating the talks for this retreat (these videos, for example), your practice will simplify and deepen.
